This community is found in a country where being a Christian opens you up to disadvantage and at times persecution. This is in an area where the whole community constantly struggles to access resources to break free from poverty and to start building a better future.
Our worker in the area is establishing a network of disciple-makers. All disciple-makers undergo a strong training programme to equip them to release ordinary community members to receive Christ and the transforming power of His grace, and then to go and share that with those that they come in contact with.
This disciple-making process also involves working with churches and disciples to also look at the holistic needs of the community.
We currently have 3 weekly online meetings with disciple-makers in the community where our worker prayers with community leaders, leads bible study and training to equip and empower locals to fulfil the calling of God.
We are also looking at ways to increase the holistic mission and release locals to serve in the fulness of bringing food, freedom and forgiveness.
