OUR COMMUNITY
Our region is one of beautiful beaches, mountains, and rich biodiversity. Usually areas like ours are full of tourists and tourism businesses. Yet, due to the history and current political situation of our region, it can sometimes still feel “undiscovered” by the outside world.
The region is almost 100% Islamic and the majority of the people here have yet to hear the good news of the Kingdom of God. Our region is also among the poorest in our country. The majority of the region's population (77 percent) lives in rural areas, where almost one-third of households live below the poverty line. The impact of poverty is particularly seen in children suffering from acute or chronic malnutrition

OUR WORK
Coffee is one of the main economic drivers of our region and it is what we love! We are currently involved in doing business for transformation through the coffee industry. Our work involves educating and equipping locals to benefit from the coffee industry. As we have provided this education and capacity building, we have seen the God-given dignity of working God's way and the honour that comes with it, become a reality for many young people here. Coffee has not only provided a way to impact the local community's high unemployment rate but also allows us to meet many people that we can share the love of Jesus with.
