Who We Are  |  What We Do

Integrated Community Transformation

Integrated community transformation (ICT) is our core purpose. It’s a strategy to realise Jesus’ claim that the Kingdom of God is here. With Jesus, we seek to model his own ministry, focusing on the needs of the whole person.

We want to see people as Jesus does — responding to their spiritual and physical needs in an integrated way. We focus on people in the context of their community—regarding everyone from recognised leaders to those on the margins who seem invisible.

We come alongside the community to work collaboratively toward transformation. For us, communities are defined either by types of people or by geographic boundaries. We define an area where a measurable impact can be realistically seen.

Our ultimate focus is to see change that reflects Jesus. We begin by ensuring that no one is invisible and everyone has access to food, freedom, and forgiveness. Access to those holistic needs opens the door for deep transformation.

Enter

When we enter a community, we seek to relate to and understand the community through the eyes of Jesus. This includes pre-field training as well as ongoing on-field research.

Evaluate and Engage

We repeat a collaborative cycle that aims to work alongside others in the community to identify and assess both needs and resources. Alongside the community, we encourage initiatives guided by a strategy and help implement them.

Expand

As transformation takes hold in a community our role changes. We avoid creating unhealthy dependencies and focus on what Jesus is doing within the community. This typically leads to expansion as transformation impacts surrounding communities.

We do integrated community transformation in communities all around the world.
