In the last two months Matumaini Rehabilitation Centre (MRC) has been having a facelift! With many thanks to a visiting group from Elizabeth College, Guernsey, some gap students from St Andrew's School, Kenya, and Ellie & Harrie (graduates from King's College Taunton)...MRC is looking a lot brighter and fresher!

We also want to give a special thank you to Mrs Emma Pennington from St Andrew's School who volunteered her time and expertise with this project!

The team from Elizabeth College did a fantastic job at transforming the common room...we are now looking to try and fundraise to fill this room with some new seating and soft furnishings to make this a more comfortable space for the children to hang out in.

Ellie & Harrie (King's College, Taunton graduates) did an incredible job of fundraising to take on the the BIG task of transforming the centre's dormitories! Assisted by The St Andrew's School gap students, they all did an amazing job! They painted lots of beautiful flowers and trees on the walls...and every child (and member of staff) had their handprint added to the trees to show they belong.

Are you part of a school or Church? Would you like a team to come and visit MRC? There's always a practical project that you can get involved with so do GET IN TOUCH if you're interested!
